Guo is an internet celebrity who took up boxing at 29 and is making his pro debut vs. a former Chinese national amateur team member with some hype behind him in Wang, now 5-0.

Yan appeared to score a couple of maybe-knockdowns in Round 3, but the ref seemed to rule both as pushes.

Orthodox fighter in blue trunks very aggressive, spearing long harpooning rights into the body and line drives up top behind a prodding jab, but the southpaw in black is soaking up most of it on a turtle shell and then skipping counter-clockwise with speedy accurate (but very light) counters, grunting with each like a tennis player.

 

Blue trunks having a much better third, not falling for feints as he applies steady pressure with jabs and heavy rights, dropping and folding his upper body inward anytime black trunks swats at him with a sudden counter right hook.

Good movement from black down the stretch, walking blue onto big left uppercuts - thrown with emphasis but it seems black is just a feather-fist (or blue is hard to hurt). Blue catches him tiring with a shot-put right with a minute left and grinds him into the ropes - but his nose is bloodied as black shimmies free and tags him with lefts!

They've replaced Zhenyu Guo (the internet celebrity whose fame and millions of followers allowed him to waltz into the main event of a SECA/Top Rank card in his professional debut) as he pulled out last minute for 'personal reasons. A replacement opponent stepped in to face Lei Wang, hailed as 'the next Zou Shiming' by Chinese media.
