If Taylor could somehow recapture his old moja, he would be the best fighter in the tourney, and there would be a large and obvious gap between him and second best. However, Jermain is shot to ****, and that was obvious in the Abraham fight.
Im going with Kessler to beat froch because Froch is to easy to hit and not half as fast and mobile as Ward was Ward to KO taylor and Taylor will retire after the fight.. AA i feel is going to hurt Dirrel...AA is a tough little dude
Kessler over Froch, Ward over Taylor....undecided at this time on Abraham vs. Dirrell. I have a feeling Kessler vs. Froch will be the most entertaining of these three. Even as a Ward fan, the Kessler-Froch and Abraham-Taylor fights are the ones I can't wait to see.
Tough fights. I think Dirrell has the style to beat Abraham. He will throw a combo and then back up. If Abraham connects though it's lights out. It's a very interesting fight stylistic wise. People are writing of Dirrell too quickly. Same with Taylor, Ward is better style for Taylor. Taylor's losses have all come from power fighters Pavlik x2, Froch, and Abraham. Taylor is just as quick as Ward and he looked very good when he was fighting Abraham. The Froch-Kessler fight will be tough as well. This is a perfect fighter for Froch, because Froch isn't quick, but Froch can make it a dirty sloppy fight on the inside and Kessler can't fight on the inside. Also, Ward was able to hurt Kessler a couple of times and back him up. Froch can do the same to Kessler while Kessler hit Ward and Ward really wasn't affected too bad. All three fights are very tough to call. With all that said, right now I would go with Ward, Dirrell, and Froch winning.
Dirrell will run and potshot his way to a victory...it'll be an American rob job. AA isn't active enough and won't catch Dirrell enough times to slow his roadrunning ass down. Kessler will KO Froch in a decent scrap while it lasts. Froch is simply too arrogant. That's his problem. He still thinks he's got a granite chin and can outbang anyone. When he steps into the ring with Kessler...it's going to look like the Andrade fight...but shorter. Ward is going to win, but in no dominant fashion. Jermain's shot, but he'll definitely make a better fight out of it than Kessler did. It'll be competitive while it lasts...I'm going bold on this one and saying Ward wins a SD...or incredibly close UD.
Depending on the location of the fight, I'd be quite tempted to pick Froch over Kessler. If it's in Denmark or Germany, I'd go with Mikkel, but in England, I'd choose Froch. Anywhere that allows a fighter to rough house Kessler is going to be a tough place for Mikkel to win. Ward over Taylor is the conservative call here, but I think the style matchup and Andre's lack of one-shot power will lead to a closer fight than Kessler that'll probably go distance. There'll likely be good odds on this fight for anyone betting on Taylor given the buzz Ward's generating. I think Abraham's generalship and ability to set traps in the ring is going to catch up to Andre Dirrell at some point in time. If he survives, Andre will have every opportunity to get the decision...but I think Arthur will get the stoppage somewhere around the 8th when Dirrell falls into a lull and makes a mistake.
