Wow how much weight had Fury lost in such a short time??? sorry I can not see this (Fury fought the best fight of his career that night).
Fury a hell of a lot better than Luis Ortiz & your be surprised if Fury lasts six rounds Wow.
I'd like to now see Wilder come out swinging & let's see if Fury makes a mug of him.
Wilder might punch himself out if he does this be interesting to see what happens.

You don't think the Wilder fight was his best performance? If you had to name Fury's best performance to date, what would the top be? I'm just curious?

Because I would label Wilder's fight with Fury as one of the worst of Wilder's career. And, yet, he still had Fury down twice. So I expect him to be better.

How much better can Fury get? Did he look better in his last fight?

Wlad & Wilder did his QuackSquad when he could have faced Wlad,, he knew he's lose.

(I would label Wilder's fight with Fury as one of the worst of Wilder's career)
That's cos Fury made Wilder look a mug bar the 2 knock downs.
We all know Wilder can bang but you can not always stop every fighter.

I will say this That Willain that faced Fury Wilder he will stay away from.
Then we have all the other boxers Wilder won't fight but let's not go over old ground.

Fury deals in mind games. He wants Wilder to believe that he is coming in a completely different Fury so will give him hesitation instead of confidence as to preempting Furys moves. I struggle to believe Fury is going to spend much time with planted feet looking to throw bombs. But he wants Wilder to be unsure.

How was it a bad night for Wilder??? Wilder is frequently outboxed or even on the cards with fighters below his level and relies on his power to bail him out. He just fought a better boxer who took a better punch. I would not say Fury was in ideal shape for Wilder. He was 256 pounds. He's better off at 246, the weight he beat Wlad. Weight is something a fighter can control. I think Fury knows where he better off this time.

I'm not saying Widler can't punch. He sure can. I'm saying the media is overrating him now calling him the best puncher ever. Wilder hit Fury with two good ones, and could not stop him. Keep in mind Fury was down and shook up by a cruiserweight on the way up.

Which top 10 contenders under the age of say 37 did Wilder KO? How about zero. His Ko's come against the old, smaller or just not good enough to begin with. Many punchers could KO the same types of guys. I also think Wilder is a little prone to swelling, which could be a factor if Fury jabs well.

In truth, Widler mangers in Shelly Finkel and Al Haymon have done a masterful job with him. They passed on a fight with Wlad, who easily Ko'd Wilder in sparring ( that's true ) and big payday. Instead, they realized that they have one of the few good American heavies. So they matched him perfectly vs. mostly non-top ten guys, mixing in the older and slower name guys in the top ten ( Ortiz ) or simply put him in title matches vs. non top 15 types and began to racking up the knockouts. That's 100% true.

Wilder legacy can go either way. One KO loss, I think he'll flame out. One flunked drug test, and it's over a people will say that explains his extra power. Or he could beat Fury and then roll the dice vs. Joshua earning him real a chance for a legacy. Wins over both Fury and Joshua without getting sparked by someone else would probably give WIlder a spot in my top 20. At his age, I think his promoters will go for the big money fights.

    Really?

Well, I guess it wasn't a bad night for Wilder compared to Joshua's bad nights against Ruiz.

Maybe if Wilder had gone down four times when Fury "ROCKED HIM" and spit out his mouthpiece and quit while standing in his corner, people would think Wilder had a better chin.

    Is that the right answer?

You say Wilder needs to beat Fury and THAT GUY to prove his worth? The quitter who needs a half a year to prepare for Kubrat Pulev?

Wilder's going to knock out Tyson Fury in two weeks, become the undefeated lineal World Heavyweight Champion, the heavyweight king who knocked out everyone he fought as a pro, the heavyweight champ with 11 straight WBC title defenses under his belt ...

And there will still be guys (the ones who insist Wilder is terrible) who will say, "Fury blew it. Fury shouldn't have dumped his trainer. Fury weighed too much. Fury had the wrong plan. Fury this. Fury that."

But their numbers will continue to dwindle.

I'm not a fanboy. I'm a fight fan. Deontay Wilder is a great champion. He's already been a great champion. He's always in shape. Always fights through injuries. Always delivers an exciting conclusion, even on an off night here or there. And I hope he continues to be a great champion for years to come.

It's too bad there are so many guys on this board who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and can't appreciate this run while we're in the midst of it. But they'll figure it out, eventually.

You didn't tell me why it was a bad night for Wilder. That's because Fury made him look that way. Also Wilder had the best possible night with the judges.

You're not fan boy of Wilder's? I think you're probably his biggest fan here. Wilder a great champion? Great champions are defined by beating the best, not avoiding them.

But like I said if he can beat both Fury and Joshua, those are good wins. Until now his best win is over a very old Ortiz, and he was almost stopped in the process.

    He's avoiding the best?

He's fighting the #1 Ring Heavyweight (the lineal champ) for the second time in 14 months.

I can't take you guys anymore.

    Enjoy your evening.

Who else has Wilder faced other than Fury please stop this Whyte faced better boxers than Wilder.
AJ also faced a higher class of boxer by miles it's true Wilder avoiding facing the best (that's a fact)
Fury is the only real name that Wilder faced that's not enough for 1 Ring Heavyweight.

I'm not a fan of either fighter, but like everyone else I'll be watching.

I think Fury is mentally unstable and will likely lose his focus sometime during the fight and get KOed. But if he does last the distance, the judges in Las Vegas will give it to the American boxer like they always do.

I'm very sure one way or the other, Wilder will win.

Fury made wilder look bad. Nothing to do with wilder having an off night. Furys had a history of fighters looking bad tbf to him....chisora, hammer, klitchko and wilder. All looked terrible against fury. That cant all be down to guys having an off night.

Wilder has good power....but he usually has the length advantage...either frustrates his opponents with his backward movement till he takes them unaware....after hes got them frustrated or he gets them coming in. He uses his length advantage brilliantly tbf. Hes an average boxer but they,ve got his well coached with his movement...and the reflex trained right hand. He loses a lot of his advantage when he doesn,t have the length advantage tho. Fury dealt with his power...because he didnt need to walk into wilders range and wilder couldn,t frustrate him. it was tiredness that got to fury because of the lay off. If furys fitter this time he should win it and avoid any knockdowns without too much trouble.

Although what makes fights like this interesting is you can never really write a puncher off completely. You cant really 100 percent predict on a fight with a big puncher.

75 percent say fury will beat him without too much trouble.

I am looking forward to another high drama affair.

Hopefully PBC won't be calling it cause they sucked the first go around, screaming emphatically whenever Wilder threw a punch, 80% of which missed. It was nauseating to listen to.
