Damn, he's a monster. How did I miss this guy? Just checked him out on boxrec. Goes to the body too. Super fun to watch i bet!! Those Romanians/Hungarians have pretty good amatuer backgrounds. I have 3 of them in my gym. Kind of a hint of Mickey Ward to his style IMO.

Yeah, he does have some Ward in him. You can see the Tyson influence, too, that Teddy Atlas mentions in the commentary.

He is fun to watch and can crack with both hands. David Haye has said he thinks AD is the future of the LHW division. Guess we'll find out.

A lot of the Eastern Euros have some solid fundamentals/amateur backgrounds, it seems. I think it's because many of the countries had good sports programs (when Communist) and now they're starting to turn out some of those guys and those systems into the professional ranks. I think the Klitschkos came out of that kind of program. Of course, Diaconu is younger than both VK & WK, so I'm not sure if it's the same thing for him.
