Circle Go? *googles "square go?"* ohhh yeah, id definatly be willing to fight you. im 6'4 185 btw....dont think itd really be all that fair though. and i live in the united states, if your in the philadelphia area shoot me a PM we can go a few rounds with out me punching back, like till your forearms get sore and call it a draw.
I am 7ft3 and 400 lb, the guy im sparring in my video is 6ft8 so yeah :/ its a bit unfair i guess. And no, i don't think i will ever go to philly. Its a **** hole.
do you think im not 6'4" 185? you do say your 5'11" and 58 kg in your sparring thread. 185, thats like 84 kg. i live in bucks county about 30 miles north of philly, its quite nice, i philly isnt all that nice i especially hate driving in philly. nice smiley.
Yeah, i was taking the ****. Maybe i should mention i'm 15 too? So that offer for a square go wasn't genuine. All philly is good for is extended stair cases. Why are you telling me where you live? Pedophile.
I look at a lot of tyson training clip and get the motion right, particularly him on the slip bag in slow motion. Here are some of his jab knockouts if you want to study some movement. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsx5n3S0Xl0[/ame] I think its important to squeeze your asscheeks and abs hard. get the hip action right. lead foot holding good balance and practice controlled explosive movement pushing off backfoot and up off the ground with your lead leg. Its more of an arching body movement rather than sticking your arm directly forward. turn your elbow over and then your shoulder right over and arch over into your jab. forget ali sweet pea stick straight jabs for a while if you want to put power into it.
relax your arm. rotate your body, pull the right side backwards. make sure the punch is straight and you feel your shoulder touch your cheek. turn the fist. pull back faster than you threw it out. this is a hard straight fast jab which will earn respect. if you want to pop it, same thing but less rotation and more weight on front foot rather than back. stepping in, push off with the back foot. front foot should land AT SAME TIME as the jab lands. arm should be like a spear, whole body should be moving in unison.
This is how I vary my jab. I usually will start out feeling my opponent out and measuring range with a fast "tapper" jab. After maybe an exchange or two, I vary my jab by crouching a tad and slipping at little to my right and fire it with my shoulder and hip turning trying to punch through his headgear. When it lands, its like a straight left. Then I work feints, and then jab from a low left hand. I like to slip to the outside when I jab, since it's much more difficult to counter with the right.
