He is 17-0 with 14 KO's as WBC International Welter weight champion presumably his promoters are going down the Andre Berto route. His next fight is in the USA. Is he a fighter worth looking out for?
He has a very solid fight coming up on Showtime vs. Said Ouali, I think you shouldn't miss it. Pretty good matchup to see what Selcuk can or can't offer to the WW division. Personally, I have no idea how good is he, so I look forward to it.
Haven't seen much of Aydin, but his opponent Said Ouali is a damn good fighter with two fisted power, trained by Roger Mayweather. I'll be looking forward to that one.
how many "....mike tsyon" are their? the white tyson the mini tyson the greek tyson the law abiding tyson etc is it really a flattering term to label someone with?
I think you should start a thread on this point - those named rightly on wrongly after legends Q- The Dutch Sonny Liston? - Do you recall this fighter's name>
feel free to do so yourself.. im logging off in a mo! sugar sam peter is getting a little crazy though.
Richel Hersisia. More like the Dutch Michael Marrone. I'm looking forward to Aydin - Ouali. Ouali has improved a lot lately and is an exciting fighter. If Aydin can beat him convincingly, his stock should shoot up. Kind of a dangerous fight for Aydin, as Ouali is better than his record indicates.
**** that Mini tyson ****.. no more Tyson.. There's not going to be another Tyson for the next 30-50 years if there will ever be one.. Mini tyson my ass.
Just watched a little more footage of Aydin, and I'm not particularly impressed with his skill set, though he appears to be an all action fighter. The boy is heavy handed, no doubt. But he's relatively crude without much speed to speak of and a propensity for throwing wide punches. I'm not sure how well either fighter takes a shot, but both cats can bang and I'm banking on Ouali's shorter, crisper shots being the difference in the fight. Should be interesting, regardless. Plus we get to see Roger Mayweather work a corner, which is always fun.
