Seeing as Audley Harrison's biggest problem is that he is afraid of getting hit...

would it be beneficial for his trainers to have him tied up and punched clean in the face for a while to perhaps alleviate this fear?

I wish they did that, mainly because I enjoy the thought of Audley tied up and punched in the face repeatedly.

What a radical, practical idea :think

Has this been done before? Are you a trainer? How many punches in the head would you recommend??? ...

I know it's been done before to the body, so I figure why not the head as well. As it's Harrison I recommend a minimum of 50 blows by a decent punching heavyweight, and they may as well forgo using gloves for this exercise as I don't see how it would be beneficial.

Hmm interesting idea. Maybe they could just hit him in the face with a baseball bat for 3 minutes flat? If he can do that then I'll finally give him a slight chance in this fight.

    Sounds good to me.

Maybe for charity, while he's still trussed up, some competition winners could come in & backhand him for a bit -- just a couple of slaps, I'd buy a raffle ticket.

...Bull**** aside though, I had the pleasure of watching Harrison/Coleman Barrett again today, & I know exactly what you're talking about re: that look of utter terror...

You are Horrible, do you know that...?

    You are ****ing horrible.

David Haye has turned into Hayerunner at Heavyweight. David Haye in my opinion is clearly, clearly more afraid of being hit than Audley Harrison.

Why is he running..? He does more mileage than Paula Radcliffe.

Audley Harrison has never ran from a opponent, and has never been so scared to get hit, that he forgets that Boxing is a contact sport.

David Haye against Valuev, was pathetic. I thought that he was suffering from some sort of amnesia. And he forget that boxing was a contact sport...........

Audley Harrison against Michael Sprott, Danny Williams, Martin Rogan. Took their punches, and stood in the firing line......

David Haye at heavyweight has been scared death of being hit.......this a cold fact.

David Haye is going to run in this fight...

Or are you one of the "No Marks" that think David Haye fights like Mike Tyson...?

Yet again, a ****ing "No Mark" like you proves to me. That you don't know anything about boxing, also that your mind is small.

And you are one stupid ****er.

I think what it is, its the mentality of the person, see IMO, the way a fighter fights is a mirror image of the person he is inside.

    OMG, stfu! :lol::rofl

You are one sorry joke, you know that, always have been. Much like your idol.

I'll tell you what, let's compare the pathetic perfomances for Haye and from Audley, shall we? There will be 10 years worth of footage from Audley for you to cry over.

And I'll be very happy to school you on any boxing topic you like. Just say the words....

Why don't they just run him over with a tank? Get even better results and it'd only take a second, then they could scrape him up and get on with something else. That and it's probably closer to what Haye's going to do to him than anything else mentioned in this thread so far.
