    damn, thats awesome...Hearns Sr is a good dad.
    thats too bad, Ronald Hearns has heart and really tried but just didnt have enough tonight...which is not good, he should be able to beat a guy like that...

    That was to keep him in school. Earn your college degree and then you can fight. Think about it, he earns his degree and he is now a man so his father or anyone cannot tell him what to do. Tommy knows what he was doing. He knew his son was eventully going to try his hands on boxing. Tommy knows you have to start young. With this loss, maybe Tommy gets his wish and Ronald gives up the dream. As another poster mentioned, props for him just getting this far without Amatuer fights and starting at 25.

    Tommy Heanrns has brain damage from the Hagler fight. Look at Baby Floyd and how he was brought up. Ronald has no less a pedigree, but a ******ed dad.

    It was a 50/50 fight and the guy is undefeated! I guess we're so use to mismatches that we never give credit to fighter who pulls the upset?:-(

    Maybe you're right. I just saw Hearns hit the guy with his best, and I just imagined other guys hitting Yorgey. Hearns was limited, and Yorgey did look like the better schooled fighter.

    I don't think Tommy was an idiot. I don't think Tommy really wanted his son to box. He wanted his son to do something else. Ronald did ok with hardly any experience. He just started too late. I do think that is anyone could have helped Ronald at this stage it could be Emanual.

    BTW, word Antwuan!!! I hadn't seen that old show in YEARS!!! Kind of silly, some of it, but was funny as **** at the time. Plus like Nallege said, the best part was how Marty looked at the end, after the fight. LOL.

    Yeah, and the fact that this imbecile is making fun of a guy who entertained us by boxing is kind of weird...isn't it. Nobody is saying that you shouldn't talk about Tommy, but calling him a ******...!!!??? Where does that come from?
