Most of the time no ones heard of Canelo’s opponent, but it was crazy how so many people were saying that Bivol was a nobody and was an easier fight than Charlo

Yep, and if Canelo had fought Charlo that night the buy rate would have been substantially higher and i think he would have walked away with a victory that night as well.

Damn, Canelo is being diabolical by using his face to hit Floyd's gloves.

Bang on! Really was unsporting of him, doing that to an aging fighter with known hand problems. Shame on you Canelo

I don’t even like Canelo, but reports are that the fight did over 520,000… not the fake number you pulled out of your ass.

Active boxers, I'd put AJ at second, then Fury. As far as I can tell, AJ is a superstar in England, and while Fury seems to be as well, it seems like AJ is the one getting all the sponsorships.

canelo could knock out charlo faster than he knocked out plant and much more dominant... it would be an easy job... with respect to spence he has neither the resume nor the talent nor the sales of canelo... he is a good boy leave it where it is

That's among hardcore baaaxing fans. Common folk have no idea who Spence is let alone Crawford (who? Cindy Crawford?)

What's shocking is that Golovkin, a guy from a country most Americans don't know exists, and Canelo, a Mexican, are even in the PPV conversation against two top American fighters, let along have outperformed them generally speaking. Not only that, Golovkin no longer even bothers speaking English, and Canelo never did, making them even more difficult to promote in the US.

Golovkin is literally the worst fighter you could ever hope to promote from a nationality point of view in the US. He doesn't belong to any 'demographic market', his official country has only a tiny number of immigrants in the US and there is a general Soviet hostility all through Murica. Still, he's a more 'lucrative brand' than Spence or Crawford.

Spence and Crawford should have been WILDLY outperforming non-Muricans Golovkin and Canelo for years, but have failed to.

The fight will bring out the base and will bring in at least 600,000 pay per view buys. I am sensing general apathy for Canelo vs Lil g.

AJ does bigger numbers than Fury hence the jealousy despite Fury’s success. You notice AJ hardly mentions Fury but Fury mentions AJ almost every day.
