just read in a local facebook boxing page a quote from miguel that says this

" We only want the big names in boxing, and if it is Amir Khan, we are ready for him"

its not ggg but at least better than k9, rios or timmy

    thoughts?

Khan is fighting at 147...why would he fight at 160 all of a sudden?

If Khan beats Cotto at 160, is he in the top 10 P4P?

Seems he's taking shots better at the higher weights.

I could see Khan taking the fight at 155 and taking Miquel to school.

    Very bad fight for Cotto.

Not only would be a huge duck of GGG, but passing his lineal MW title to one of the chinniest LWs in the history of boxing.

    Wow......that would be aweful for Cotto's legacy.:lol::lol::lol:

He'd be far smarter to take the Bradley or K9 fights where he'd get more credit for winning, and have a much better chance of actually winning the fights.

Khan makes Mayweather look slow as molasses, and May's speed kept Miguel looking clueless when he was in the center of the ring.

Virgil has Khan trained so similarly to Wlad Klitschko and Andre Ward, that any time the fight got on or near the ropes, Khan would use the octopus moves, wrestle with Miquel until the ref separated them, then it'd be back to being potshotted and countered over and over and over again.

I wouldnt be surprised if a 155lb Khan couldnt KO Cotto at this point.:-(

Is Khan brave/stupid/greedy enough to take this fight?

If Cotto hits Khan with his left hook, Khan will be out.

155 both are similar size in terms of weight. It will be at 155lbs catchweight for the 160 titles according to Khan if it happens.

Everything about Cotto paired with Roach is wrong in my mind for Khan...

But meh Khan might manage to pull off a great performance. He'd have to show grit in this fight no way he gets through it without atleast getting hurt once.

    Should just fight Brook lol...

do think khan winning a MW lineal title is a bit of a joke, but khan vs cotto is a fight I'd like to see.

khan weights over 160lbs at fight night, and don't think cotto puts that much weight on so their fight night weights are probably fairly close.

I'd prefer a khan vs brook fight in uk, and cotto vs GGG.

I'd give Cotto 70% chance of winning, Khan 30% chance. Khan has that 30% chance because he is a lot quicker than Cotto and will have more success on the outside. Cotto is the favourite for me because he is bigger/stronger, has good timing and a great left hook. Khan gets hit with left hooks a lot. Khan also clinches quite often these days, Cotto would throw him about in the clinch.

Please make it happen.. Khan the warrior will shock the world..

Khan will come in the ring just over 160lbs on fight Night same as he was with Collazo and Alexander and that speed is real.. I mean Cotto can't live with that type of Hand speed..
