Seems like Golovkin won’t have an opponent, what’s his plan?

First he turned down Canelo for May, then he didn’t accept Hearn’s offer (Andrade in May, Canelo in September chance to unify all the belts + make another 30-40 million) and now we are hearing about Smith-Kovalev so he doesn’t want that fight on the Anfield either with Smith

    Canelo-Jacobs official
BJS-Andrade gonna be official on Monday
    Smith-Kovalev strong rumours

Al Haymon made it clear that he can only promise GGG-Charlo PPV which is not a big payday

What’s next for Golovkin? He didn’t even give an interview since last September. I have to believe that probably he is going to retire.
Which I don’t really understand because lot of people saying that Canelo is P4P top 3-5 but he just outboxed him.

Probably he made enough money and at the age of 37-38 he doesn’t want thone brutal training camps and wars in the ring anymore as a father of 3.

At this point I'd go the Brant route as quickly as possible. Pickup a minor title, be in a position to enforce a shot at the real belt, and keep from staying in active for a year (which would be awful for a fighter at his age)

Vanes and Rubio (both younger than Golovkin) retired after they got knocked out by GGG (both 2nd round K.O.)

Brook was never the same fighter after G sparred with him 5 rounds. His coach saved his life when he was showing white flag and threw the towel.

GGG probably questioning his heart. In 400+ fights He'd never gotten his body and face battered the way he did against Canelo. Boxing is fun and games until you're at the receiving end of an ass kicking.

It's starting to look like Gennady was shook when Canelo got in his face post weigh-in and has not recovered since.

No point starting threads like this. You’re giving the village idiots a place to showcase their abilities.
Just wait for him to finally tell everyone what the plan is, until then everything is meaningless chatter.

We are waiting since last September. A global superstar should be much more active on social media.

He’s also a husband, father and a human being that should be able to do his thing without people like you acting like he owes you something. His activity in social media etc affects his popularity and therefore affect s how much he’ll get paid for fighting. His decision from start till end.
