Seems like Jones is purposely making the fight go the distance

rjj held back. he could have ended tito in the 7th or so, but carried him to a decision. i think he wanted to let tito lose in a dignified way, great gesture by rjj to another fellow ATG. my gripe with rjj (the fighter) was that i felt he had the talent, skills and clout with HBO to have been the greatest of all time. but i've always respected rjj (the man) for the g-man trust fund, being a fan friendly fighter etc... and now for carrying tito.

 

roy did the right thing. tito is beloved by many and to see him get brutalized by roy would have been bad. roy showed much class by not going crazy like an animal and trying to take tito out.

all-time roy is top 5 for me, not many boxers in history has his ability and class.
