Seems like Thurman wants no part of Shawn Porter

The thread starter is a fool. This fight is agreed on from both parties. I think it's just a matter of most likely Haymon finalizing a date and venue.

 

As for the matchup itself, I expect Thurman to win by clear decision.

 

The biggest contradiction in boxing at the moment is:

we been hearing that for the past 3/4 months and still no official announcement as we head into november. Im not buying it.

 

Shawn Porter said he doesn't know what's going on. How do you know?

 

Thurman is doing a lot of talking but isn't backing it up. I'm starting to think he is the one ducking rather than others ducking him.

 

According to Dan Rafael: Word is reason Thurman-Porter is no go Dec. 12 is because Haymon is saving it for first PBC prime time card on Fox main network on Jan. 23.

After all that talk Thurman did in the run up to the Floyd vs Berto fight he now pulls a duck move. A knew he was another all talk. Idiot talking abouit he wants to knock out Virgil Hunter! Respect your elders you caveman looking clown!

 

Al Haymon is protecting Thurman. Haymon protects all his undefeated fighters. He wont match them against guys who could possibly beat them. Its in Haymon's best interest to keep his undefeated guys with their 0's intact for as long as they can. Its simple in house match making!

 

:good Thurman v Porter was also offered to him on Oct 3rd. I'm not sure Thurman is that confident he can beat Kell Brook's son.

 

What's the status of this fight? Happening or no?
