I'm a big fan of Taylor, he was a great a fighter and still possesses some of those fine skills he once had. A good puncher, pretty fast, and a great Jab as well as the ability to turn it on in an instant. Sure, he didn't quite achieve what he could of but he could rest proudly on the fact that he was an undisputed champion. That said, he is finished now. Struggling with club fighters he would once ripped through isn't a comeback, it's an illusion. In my humble opinion, he surrounded with a whole bunch of yes-men just pleased to be working with a name. A sad and familiar tale unfortunately. I'd like to see him retire with his head and health intact and it's not like he is severely wanting for money?! All that's going to happen is he is going to spoon fed B-level fighters until he meets someone with world class skills and a punch and gets violently and sickeningly knocked out again. I'd really hate to see it happen to fighter I so admired for a long time. Your thoughts?
I don't think you can "feed" JT B-level opponents at this stage. His opponents during his comeback have been well below B-level. I think B-level opponents present a very real danger to him.
I think Pat Burns does care about JT, and I doubt if Burns will let him fight anyone he shouldn't fight. However, Burns may not have enough control to stop it, and that could be a problem because Jermain has gigantic balls and a small brain.
