Anyone think Katsidis vs. JMM will have a similar ending? No shame losing to a young gun because 35 is very old at such low weights. I just wish Calderon went out swinging instead of on his knees.

Not at all. JMM will not take a knee and quit. He might get starched, but JMM won't go out on his knee.

Just read that Calderon was behind on all 3 judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage, in Calderons hometown!

68-65 x2 and 69-67 to Segura after 7...I had it 68-66 to Calderon

I went to my girlfriend's cousin's house and watched Toney vs. Couture... missing this one. Terrible choice. Terrible, terrible choice.

I didn't see the Calderon-Segura fight, but I doubt it would go along the same lines. Calderon surprisingly tried to mix it up with Segura, something he's not as adept at doing. Juan is comfortable mixing it up, is cagey, and tough as nails. He might lose to Katsidis(though I pick him to beat Kats), but I doubt it goes along the same line.

what a great fight. i had calderon ahead on points but he got caught. those body shots thrown by segura are really effective.

Calderon should've retired, the man is 35 years old and don't have his reflexes any more, but I gave him an "A" for effort.

Im kind of sad for Calderon.

I didnt see the fight, but maybe he should think about retiring? I know hes been on the slide a bit for awhile, no sense in rittling his legacy with holes like everyone else does if he doesnt think he has whats needed left.

I hope to view this fight soon, sounds like it was a blast. Will be interesting to see where both go from here, and if there is a rematch.
