Aydin began to yo-yo between 140 and 147 recently. He cut down after the JSK loss for Lauri, and then moved back up for Herrera.

There doesn't seem to be any discernible change in his effectiveness between weights and he doesn't look drained or anything. :conf

Aydin should've always been at 140

    Round 1

Corley is stepping around with his lead foot planted and swiveling his entire body in smooth motions, throwing multiple right jabs at the forehead of Aydin while sidestepping. Overhand rights by Aydin charging toward Corley in straightforward beelines, lunging in and missing. Corley ducks and swerves in front of Aydin, chin tucked, making him miss a few swipes overhead. Corley slaps in a few right hooks on the jaw and gets shoved into the ropes and then clipped with an overhand right. The ref doesn't like how rough and dirty they're getting up close so he pushes them apart. Big overhand rights spammed by Aydin marching forward, two missing but one landing. Corley takes it well and circles, keeping his defense sharp.

    10-9 Corley

Aydin shouldn't have stolen it, but probably did on the official cards.

The British EuroSport commentators are making excuses already, saying "it was Corley early but Aydin late; could go either way really..."

    Round 2

Corley is knocked backwards from a pummeling body attack by Aydin. Huge right hands scooped in under Corley's nestled rear elbow, forcing Corley to cede ground. Aydin straightens the right hand and brings it upstairs as Corley gets his guard up quickly to catch the bombs on the back of his gloves. Aydin is applying pressure now behind a jab-feint, but not throwing it much. Aydin simply extends his left forearm, pushing into Corley with it. Corley chops down at it with his right but can't bat it away or slow Aydin's pressuring crawl. HARD corkscrew right hand to the body from Aydin, hurting Corley. Aydin jabs at Corley's head, missing as Corley leans, dips and rolls at mid-range. Corley counters with quick jabs and slap-hooks while holding his left glove up by his chin as Aydin walks him down.

    10-9 Aydin

    19-19

The commentator actually has it the exact opposite as me: 1st to Aydin, 2nd to Corley. Same ultimate even score, 19-all.

The story of this fight... with the word "either" being replaced by "Aydin's" in reality :yep

    Round 3

Corley is very carefully bobbing around, putting out right jabs and keeping a watch on Aydin's whereabouts but still occasionally circling into the end of a big overhand right. Aydin keeps pumping them out coming forward and rocks Corley several times, shrugging off jabs and shoeshine flurries by Corley. Lunging right by Aydin, not quite reaching. Corley leans deeply to either side while backpedaling, his balance seeming to come slightly unglued, custom-made shoes (yes, he designs them himself and sells them on his website and Facebook page) beginning to skid erratically on the canvas. Big overhands and uppercuts by Aydin. Corley is blocking most of it but getting pounded and backed up. Light counter lefts and right hooks by Corley, accomplishing nothing.

    10-9 Aydin

    29-28 Aydin

Corley seemed to be hurt a few times in third.

29-28 Aydin, but all these rounds have been pretty close.

I think Corley is done, guys. :verysad

His crappy performance against Postol wasn't the first lame effort of his career, but it really ought to have been followed by a sharp bounce-back - which this is shaping up not to be, despite being a must-win if he wants to stay relevant with likely no more chances to come his way at his age.

I don't mean he isn't trying - his trying just ain't cutting the mustard.

    The mind is willing...

    Round 4

Corley is making it ugly now, grabbing and wrestling Aydin up close after catching his right hand in midair. Corley ducks the Aydin jab and pokes him on the belt line with straight arm punches. Aydin pushes Corley down to his knees with a palm on the back of his head when Corley moves in trying to hold him around the waist. Corley spins and turns his back from Aydin rolling with a jab. Clinch. Aydin is loading up and getting his arms snatched as he throws. Rabbit punches in the clinch. Warning by the ref. Body shot by Aydin. Corley trades with him, missing an overhand left past Aydin's neck as the right hand of Aydin connects, grazing Corley's face.

    10-9 Aydin

    39-37 Aydin
