EuroSport are showing us a replay of Arthur Abraham vs. Wilbefore Shihepo to make up for that disappointment. :good

Might see Kendell Holt get the call, perhaps...He's vulnerable enough to be ground down and stopped by Aydin's pressure- and a big enough name still that it will count for something in the ratings.

Aydin won't be paying America another visit after being schooled by Guerrero and Karass. He has short legs and no footwork, he just walks around and throws bombs. He's probably going to continue making fights of this kind in Turkey or Germany against D level opponents and Journeyman.

Ordinarily I would say yes as you aren't wrong on any of that...but with already having been ranked #4 and now having a trinket (and therefore paying his fees and thus ingratiating himself with the 'big man' Jose...) he might eventually be willing to make the flight again should it mean a crack at Garcia.

That is probably another schooling waiting to happen, but he probably won't leave that much cash and the slim chance of getting the green belt sitting on the table.

Ahead of Aydin in the WBC rankings are:

#3 - International Silver champion Humberto Soto. He is past his best and not invulnerable to pressure, but showed enough in the Matthysse loss that he isn't a sure thing for the lesser Aydin. (though if this ever did come off, Aydin by stoppage would probably be a value bet)

#2 - Silver champion Roberto Ortiz. Domestic level talent who mostly competes in Mexico against fellow Mexicans. Unlikely he or Aydin can woo each other to either side of the Atlantic. Unlike Soto, not a lot of money in this one.

#1 contender Viktor Postol. Boring, feather-dusting jab-smith. He won't visit Turkey and they probably won't send Aydin into the Ukraine, especially not to get outmaneuvered in a dull points loss as would most likely happen.

Does it make you feel powerful telling people what to do?
It's almost like nah naaaaaaa, I have a stream and you don't, and I'm so powerful, I will tell you not to ask for anything.

Let me fill you in on a little something. Most of us that have been here for " lengthy periods" for lack of a better term, are very familiar with ESB's 0 tolerance stream request policy , and we abide by the rules set forth.

I fail to discern why you would make such a CHILDISH, boys club, fraternity, " HEY LOOK AT ME" , Post.

Because not everyone reading RBR's is an avid poster.

    .. in other word's.. go **** yourself.

IB's my boy, get off his nuts.

Also, Fightnews is saying Corley just quit. No injury, just plain quit.

Sad end of his career... dude has had some bad losses.. but he was usually good until he stopped.

I'm actually down to see Aydin in with some bigger names. Aydin vs. Ortiz in the first half of '14 would be nice after the tree gets a tune up theoretically before years' end.

Khabib Allakhverdiev or Viktor Postol would be fairly significant bouts for both of them and Aydin

Thing is though, Ortiz would probably quit in his tune up fight and there goes his big money scrap with Aydin

    Saved me the trouble. :good

Yeah, not the best way to go out, but he's given us enough memories that I can give him a pass for exiting in this manner.
