He also came on strong after the kd,felt 10-8 was fair, judges most likely made that 10-8 as well.

Yeah, he could clean up everything outside the top 20 or so.

For different reasons, neither Aydin nor Dan are truly world class.

Let's face it, Aydin is poor. I think Dan is a lot better than he showed tonight, however I think he went for it a lot more than he maybe would have in Canada because of the anticipated biased scoring. His willingness to trade played into Aydin's hands.

Probably in a neutral venue Dan would win a clear UD by just boxing.

    Agreed. :good

Depending on how you want to look at it, Jo Jo either did himself a disservice by fighting like an idiot OR he was a brave ******* and gritted his teeth to do what he felt was going to give him his best chance of gutting it out in hostile territory.

Had he "just boxed", I think most people on here would have had similar scorecards (wide with him winning) but it would still be a question of whether the official judges did the right thing.

"Just boxing" would have probably invited a bitter robbery.

By slugging out with Aydin, it just got him decked a couple of times (and hurt several additional times) and made for a loss that's hard to argue with...especially compared to the first one.
