Cisse Salif struts out, nodding in time to the jaunty guitar & percussion tune that was selected for him (that in NO WAY could have been his own choice )

With his build and soul patch, he looks like a bad man. An ex-con. A hide your daughters low-down mofo.

In reality, he's a professional punching bag.

Here comes Erkan Teper to some dramatic symphonic techno in a sleeveless & unbuttoned red flannel shirt.

    They love him in Turkey.

It's actually scheduled for EIGHT rounds.

    :patsch

Teper vs. Salif, 8 rounds - televised.

Pala vs. Wilson, 12 rounds (with better boxers) - NOT televised. Or only 16% televised anyhow.

    Round 1

Teper pecks with some jabs coming forward. Salif watches him and keeps his left arm low, shoulder rolling. A big sloppy 1-2 by Teper is ducked. Some overhands by Salif. Teper walks him to the ropes and Salif swings his left arm at his side, holding his chin out and staring Teper down. Teper slaps out at him with some slow shots, dodged and blocked. Salif flurries and grabs.

VERY light pace, and very poor technical form from both for the most part.

Teper threw a bit more, Salif barely anything (although his defense was OK). :conf

    10-9 Teper I guess

    Round 2

Jab to the body by Teper. Salif pushes him off and circles left. Several quick soft triple jabs by Salif as he moves. Teper throws a big clubbing right that doesn't land cleanly but gets the Turks hooting and hollering. Salif drops a 1-2 to the stomach but it gets trapped between Teper's elbows. They jab at each other from long range, both looking bored. Salif hoists up his trunks. Teper throws a long slow hook across the full meter between them, coming forward a bit ungainly. Salif puts up a guard and gets tapped on the body. They come together in a hard colliding clinch as Teper lands a clubbing shot and Salif pitches forward to his knees. It's debatable how much his going down had to do with the punch itself. Salif is up and beats the count. Teper is opening up, slapping away with hooks as Salif covers up. Salif leans back to the ropes. Counter overhand right by Salif. They wrestle and push down at each other's arms, trying to get the upper hand. Salif retracts his arms and assembles his guard, leaning back into the ropes again. The referee jumps in before Teper can ever start bashing away at him.

    TKO2!
