Every single fighter in this list is worthy of respect, praise and should not be denigrated. Miguel Cotto specifically is a distinguished 4 division weights world champion and if I am not mistaken the only Puerto Rican from that proud boxing nation to achieve such a feat. The problem you and many have is that in lauding praise on your particular favourites you feel the need to denigrate other greats and other fighters which frankly is unworthy of true fans. I never liked Sugar Ray Leonard as a man and yes he beat all my favourite guys Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Hagler, Kalule etc but my person dislike of him and to my shame back in the day hatred still would not prevent me from acknowledging his greatness as a fighter. I find your comments in this thread about Cotto frankly disgraceful. I have always said if I had a son who boxed I would want him to fight like Cotto a man who has only ever displayed courage, integrity and valour in combat.

As for this at very least Andre Ward stands alone hands down as top but that is not to denigrate others. Any objective sincere critical analysis indicates this but to many people here have their own agendas for various motives. Usyk is building a great legacy but still has some significant work to do at heavyweight.

Super Joe Calzaghe the Welsh Italian devil himself one of my favourite guys from Britain was a fantastic fighter at his best, but his record suffers in comparison for the poorer quality of opponents comparatively he faced in his long reign though he beat some greats fighters when they were shot or way past their best.



GGG is very fine fighter and warrior but the lunacy of his fanboys trying to bestow him with a God like status is so unbecoming and puts some people off frankly hence giving him the nickname Lil G. Canelo is better than him period. It was obvious before they fought and it was obvious after they fought.
