At 154, Norris by UD I don't think Chavez would be effective at that weight.

Norris was a 154 pounder. Chavez was a 130-140 pounder.

    This thread sucks.

But to think that an actual matchup between the two had been discussed....poor Chavez if it ever did happen.

In a pound for pound sense. This would be very simular to the Roger Mayweather fights. Chavez would catch him early or wear Norris down for a late rounds stoppage. Both Norris & Mayweather both fought simular. Fast, good boxers with power & relatively weak chins.

For **** sake Cotto, what's with the P4P deal? At least explain it first before people vote.

I've gone and voted Norris now.

He wins at 154, P4P obviously Chavez.

Norris would have stopped him at 154. Complete mismatch. Terry was too big, too strong, too fast, and too powerful.

This is a stupid thread. It doesn'lt make sense. At what weight? A catchweight?

Anything above 140, Norris wins. Norris was too fast, too big, too strong and too skilled for Chavez, who would have been too short, with short arms. Norris didn't have the best chin, but JCC was never a big puncher, especially above 140. Chavez would have taken a beating and the fight would be stopped. Norris by TKO.
