    Lewis has the better power, has a couple inches in height and reach.

    Holmes has the better jab, Lewis has a great one, Holmes is the best of all time though. Holmes no doubt has the better chin, he has one of the best chins in HW history. Holmes has the much better footwork, having some of the best HW footwork of all time. Holmes has the faster hands too. Holmes wasn't known for gassing and needing to take breaks like Lewis was.

    I like Holmes, I think he can outjab anyone, which is what would determine this match. He has the chin and the heart to survive a huge right hand from Lewis.

    UPDATE:

    First, I'd like to thank everybody for their input and participation throughout the tournament. There have been some fantastic exchanges throughout, and it really validated the idea.

    I'm in Vegas with the Little Lady this weekend for the fight, so once the afternoon hits, I won't be on-line at all since we'll be out the whole time. In reviewing both semifinal matches, it seems obvious that neither Vitali or Holmes will make a dramatic comeback in the seven remaining hours of the tournament. So I'm going to make an executive decision within the next hours and declare both matches over so we can move on to the Finals.

    Consider this the doctor stepping in between rounds and giving Vitali/Holmes one more round to get their horrific cuts under control. :lol:

    Please make any closing arguments or final votes now.
