How come he got roped -a- doped by Chris Byrd? It only stands to reason that Ali would be more effective at the technique.

Try not to obsess over me now and keep it related it the thread.

    No.

    Ali wins all three.

Just too fast of hand and foot.

Vitali ranks much higher h2h than overall greatness, but he's facing the greatest here. By either measure.

FFS, Dino, Nobody takes your anti-Klitschko schtick seriously.

You and I both know that Byrd didn't 'beat ' Vitali as most of us understand the term.

Vitali beats Byrd 29 times out of 30.

Ali is a whole different proposition.

We're talking about a prime Ali and people are bringing up the rope-a-dope?

Ali wins a decision in a dull, ugly fight.

ali would make it a repeat of the Cleveland Williams fight except Vitali would probably make it to the 12th round to get shut out

I was just thinking that in a three fight series, Vitali might be able to run Ali close enough the first time around to maybe secure a close, controversial decision simply by standing off and flurry at Ali when he darted in. But Ali was good at making adjustments, and even if he did happen to drop one, he wouldn't be dropping any more.

    Hahaha

The fact that this poll is close shows the bias ******ed Klitschko love on these forums. If these threads were in the Classic Forum, you'd have a lot better chance of getting good results.

Ali wins it with his speed for me. Anyone who chooses Vitali though because of his size has a fair point. Ali never faced anyone as good as Vitali with his size. However I believe Ali has the speed, stamina and ring craft to run out a unanimous decision.

There was no doubt Ali would beat Norton, either. Ken was a bigger underdog than Clottey was against Pacquiao.

Ali the myth is essentially a demi-god on here. Ali the boxer actually got hit by punches, fought tough fights against human beings, and even lost from time to time.

    I know it's a wild concept.

I understand that but read the instructions to the fight..the terms and conditions. Prime versus prime top of their careers Ali puts on a boxing clinic. How could Vitali land? How could he keep up with that pace and footwork? It's just asking too much to think! The only fighter Vitali ever fought that is an ATG is Lennox Lewis and he lost that fight. He never faced ANYONE on the same level as Ali. This would be a shut out....very easy to score.

I completely agree, I cant see VK beating Ali two times out of 3, but give him a shot at winning the first.

    Damn stupid thread.

Shows how this X-Box generation don't know **** about boxing.

Neither Vitali or her sister could ever hope to have defeated Ali, before exile, or Ali, after exile.
Ali would have made them bleed like pigs before he knocked them out.
Both Klits are bleeders like Quarry.
