A hard thing to do, two great and powerfull fighters tried their best at a higher weight without success, at 135 I don't see it happening.
Duran and Pryor are probably you're best bet but I think its even more likely for Whitaker to put on a clinic and dominate either fighter rather then him getting KO'd. Sweet Pea was one of the very best...
hard to come up with an answer to this one, i'll go gans, could pick shots well and had good power and handspeed
Your consistency is unmatched... That said, can you please NOW include JJW in your top 100 P4P fighter ever... surely I've made a dent by now? :happy
LOL Do I need to recite all the people he beat that made your list.. or the fact that he beat more people on that list than the majority of people on that list beat others on it? Ohhh wait, I've done that already and you know this... okay I'll try again in a few months Really though, can you see anybody getting it done? What if I raised the bar to anybody from 140 and below? How about if I raised it to 147... but you can't pick Hearns.. Robinson.. SRL and this is a more prime pea than the version we saw at WW.
I have him at #20 for heavyweight. He didn't register at any other weights. Nobody who ranks #20 in their own division gets in, and the #20 at MW, WW, LW, LHW, BW etc. would all be ahead of him anyway, probably. Nah, nobody at 135 is getting it done, maybe some welterweights but I wouldn't bet on it in his prime.
Alexis Arguello, or Joe Gans. JC Chavez in Prime could. Sweet pea is sooooo slick, really have to be pin point accurate, an amazing swarmer, and quick. A small ring would help.
He was to much a runner.... yeah... he was great at it, and he won a lot of boxing matches. Still, not my style of boxer. I gave Chavez the fight, he at least tried to run him down.
