To outbox him. I pick 3. Robinson, Jones Jr and Gibbons. I also think Hagler and Monzon beat him but more due to power and strength than technical precision. Burley has a very good shot because he was able to replicate Jones style and athleticism. Tiger, Toney and Nunn are live dogs and whilst I wouldn't pick any of them to do the job I can't confidently say Hopkins goes 3-0. We do know Hopkins was exceptionally consistent and had a style that aged incredibly well as it relied on him anticipating the opponents shots and having enough speed to beat them to the punch combined with enough power to keep them honest, not to mention his incredible feet that kept at mid range able to leverage a strong counter right or a backfoot jab at will. I don't read too much into Taylor, they were two very close fights that relied on someone throwing consistent two fisted attacks a millisecond quicker than Hopkins could. I attribute that more to age than style. Hopkins was incredible at his best but he never was able to get a great dance partner in his prime.
