I think you’ve deliberately left out one obvious, outstanding candidate - Sailor Joe Flynn aka Captain Binghamton. That tenacious little fella would’ve had Larry’s measure.

 

What about Larry Flynt, is he close enough for hand grandes to be considered part of the Flynn family of fighters? I reckon he could “hustle” his way to a points decision.

 

I would give Sam Langford the best chance of pulling off the KO, but I am stopping short of predicting that would happen.

Now there’s a man’s man who might take the measure of Larry.

But I wouldn’t give even a longshot chance to Quinn the Eskimo. Not as mighty as his song would have you believe.

Harry Wills is the only one that wouldnt be humiliated (assuming Dempsey and Willard arent allowed), although I do wonder how a 45 round fight in the blazing sun between 1914 Willard and Holmes would go
