I feel Tony Zale and GGG would have beaten Jones, Roy never faced a body puncher like Zale. I feel Hearns and Nunn would have been a problem for Monzon and Robi because both fighters relied heavily on a reach advantage and exploiting that reach with a great jab, these fights would be like for like, Hearns was a lot like Monzon and Nunn was a lot like Robi minus the power.

I honestly don't think GGG has a hope in hell against prime Jones.

When was GGG in his prime?

GGG did a horrible job of cutting off the ring against Canelo.

I think Jones would have used Zale's head as a speed bag. Too small, too crude and too hittable to beat Roy. I agree with mark ant that Zale certainly had a great body attack, but I don't see him reaching Jones' body much, if at all. Jones would be walking him on to every left hook and jab he threw.

No version of GGG beats the Roy Jones who was clearly in his prime between '94 and '96.

GGG didn’t/couldn’t cut off the ring against Canelo.

No argument from me on this, @PhillyPhan69 - I was underwhelmed by both his performances against Canelo. A fight against Jones would be good to watch if you like watching one guy follow another guy around a ring for 12 rounds.

Though their fight was at175lbs and he was a bit faded, I till feel McCallum qualifies as a very good body puncher for Jones to have as a scalp.

Yeah, I just meant it as a joke/dig towards mark. If he says Toney couldn’t do it against Jones, there is even less evidence that GGG would have success here.

I do like GGG and don’t think he gets blown out in any of these fights (but RJJ May win uneventfuly wide), but I couldn’t pick him over any of these guys.
