McCallum threw far more body punches at middleweight v Watson in `91, that was one of his best performances I`d say.

Does the fact that Watson was green/pre-prime and that RJJ was one of the most difficult fighters ever to hit cleanly factor into this observation on anyway?

Pick any middleweights in history that could have beaten the names in the text box under the question.

Watson didn`t improve in any way after his fight with Mike but yes Roy was on another level to Watson anyway, but the moves Mike was showing in that bout were brilliant.

Point out where in his fights with Watson that Eubank showed any of these skills:

Disagree with that completely. Watson was on the world stage for the first time and gave a valiant effort that McCallum calls the strongest guy he fought. But his defense, pacing and ring generalship were vastly improved by the time he faced Eubank. He was more patient in his attack as well

Canelo was better at getting off the ropes than Roy was v Griffin in their first bout.

1 I don’t feel like watching the video right now...

2 I really don’t need to in order to know that Eubank and McCallum were 2 different stylistic fighters.

Wouldn’t it be natural for them to have different skills?

It`s just a matter of age, he is very old for a boxer and may have slowed a little now judging by his bouts v Canelo, he`s still an amazing boxer though.

You basically picked the who's who's of the MW division, and all the upper echelon guys, so there would be no way for anybody to beat them all... or they themselves would be in the upper echelon already. Not seeing anybody doing this. Guess if I had to send in anybody first it would be Sam Langford, after that and in no order, it might be McCallum, James, Tony, Hearns or maybe shoutout to Mike Gibbons (who's likely too small, but a class boxer)

Well that's tough because he's basically picked the best middleweights ever. I would go Hearns, Leonard and James Toney. I don't think anyone beats RJJ though.

That video is really worth watching, though. Very well made and analysed. Try it when you have time.

If we can pick from those listed as well, even though they'd be facing themselves in one bout??, then my favorites to pick would be Hagler or Jones
