Send them in 1 by 1. Will you send in Matthew Saad Muhammad or perhaps Eddie Muhammad. Maybe Dwight Qawi?

Ezzard Charles, as well as Dwight Muhammad Qawi (Dempsey had issues with shorter opponents) are the best to send in, but I'm not confident that either will get the job done. 50/50 maybe.

Personally, I know of NO real Light Heavy Weight, who I would back to defeat prime Jack Dempsey in a 10, 12, or 15 round fight.

Richie Kates would box his ass off. Or maybe not... but then send in Victor Emilio Galindez and he could get the job done.

Tunney beat him but hes the best HW/LHW ever and Dempsey beat two of the other very best ones in Miske and Gibbons.

Moorer isn't really a LHW but I guess he'd be my answer. Fitz and Qawi are wild cards because they have power to potentially knock Dempsey out but I think they need to get lucky.

Langford never fought at LHW because the division had stopped existing during the years he was at that weight. Body size though sure.

Qawi. Too tight of defense, better on the inside where Dempsey would think he had the advantage. More durable and just a better technical fighter.

Bob Foster could land big but I think Dempsey would get him.

    Definetely a moving type.

I think Billy Conn could do it in a 12 round fight but in a 15 rounder, Dempsey probably catches him.

Never thought of Galindez as a potential Dempsey beater.

FWIW and not what the thread is asking for i but I'd pick absolute prime 1919 Demspey over both the LH and HW versions of Tunney.

Tunney’s your best bet without a doubt & I’d give him near even odds.

I'd use both Beterbiev and Bivol. Go for the guy that will stand and fight and the guy that is a defensive wizard. Could be interesting.

I do think a LHW is kind of light in the pants for Dempsey but maybe if they got the day before type weigh in it might work.
