Surprised Conn's not been mentioned yet.
Him and Tunney will do it.

Dempsey weighed 187 pounds in Toledo. Not that far from 175

I wouldn't favor any to beat Jack,,but I might throw Michael Spinks in there.

Proved to me vs Tyson he can’t be trusted to face the gut-check of Dempsey.

Your going to laugh but I would select VIRGIL HILL.
He isn't ever going to exchange with Dempsey and his movement and jab would be a nightmare for Dempsey.

I think Qawi would get mauled because back then they allowed for far rougher tactics on the inside and the gloves I believe were smaller.
I think going towards the storm would be disastrous.

I agree, Qawi was cautious after tasting Spinks power, he sure wouldn't like what Dempsey is throwing

Jones Jr has as good a chance as anyone.

Glass chin Roy Jones vs one of boxings quickest brutal ko punchers? Anyone put in the ring with prime Dempsey has to have solid whiskers to have any chance.

RJJ was super fast and had enough pop to hurt Dempsey. IMO, RJJ has the tools to win. Depending on who you ask peak RJJ >>>Peak Tunney

I doubt Spinks would be intimidated by the 6'0 187 pound Dempsey since Spinks was 6'2 208 pounds at heavyweight. Not saying that Spinks could beat Dempsey, but I don't think that just because a peak Tyson disposed of Spinks quickly means that Dempsey could do it that quickly.

Size has nil to do with why he would be intimidated. I can’t give Spinks the benefit of the doubt if he knows who Dempsey is beforehand. I think he’d be petrified.

Don't think so after he found out about the Carpentier vs Dempsey fight.

I don’t buy it, but let’s say he isn’t. Do you like Spinks’ chances if he keeps his head to win this? What kind of odds would you set?
