    Guys who moved up to 175lbs count and we’re also obviously taking their 175lbs version, I made this thread because I’m skeptical of any would, only Roy Jones Jr. stands a decent chance IMO.
    What are some of your picks?

    very few, though some tried and tested good old boys 'might'...

    the only little Big man for Qawi, is Langford, but Langford's Era was less Athletic & Stylish, where the later Era's certainly became. Still, he's a tough old dog, Langford, for a dance.

    Toney, Hearns. Eubank was a bit small framed for cruiser.

    Not much, Bhop would get pressured like he never knew and never liked, very little chance as I see it.

    Qawi seems like a favorable match up for James Toney.

    Archie Moore spent the earlier part of his career at middleweight, right? Ezzard Charles also.

    I’ll take both of those to do the job in their 175-pound manifestations.

    I'd take Qawi by decision all day over Toney. He was uber-skilled as well and extremely durable. He'd outwork Toney in a very highly skilled affair.

    I agree. Toney was a very different fighter as he went up in weight. At 168 and below, he was way more aggressive but from 175 and up, he was a counterpuncher that struggled with speedy fighters but excelled against guys that were bangers. Qawi was extremely smart and versatile. He wouldn't allow Toney to pick him apart with counters.

    Toney did nothing of note at 175 and was outhustled by Montel Griffin x2 who had similar dimensions to Qawi being only 5'7.

    Qawi would be far too busy for Toney and would win a comprehensive decision IMO. Arguably Light Heavyweight was Toney's worst division.

    Qawi isn't your orindary pressure fighter his defense is superb arguably top 10 defence of all time for a fighter of his style that is so aggressive.

    I think Qawi vs Toney at Cruiserweight would be more competitive.

    All good points, I was envisioning the cruiser weight Toney as well (Jirov)
