Send in your middleweight to beat Prime Michael Spinks

Robinson, Hopkins and Greb would be my picks as "best shot" they did some of their best work at middle. I dont consider Jones a 160 career fighter. Toney had multiple different weight class careers.

That being said, though I think they would stand the best chance, I don't think they would win or win with any regularity. Spinks was an excellent fighter.

 

Of the middleweights with the talent, speed and skills of modern fighter Nunn and RJJ are my two picks....people dont realize how great Nunn was before drugs caused his career to fall apart and his life later BTW he was recently paroled. Of the old time fights with a chance against Spinks I might go with Greb but Spinks style was very similar to Tunney and we know Tunney was able to beat him consistently so there you go

 

I guess you would try to find somebody who could at least surpass him at something.

Harry Greb might well be able to outwork him.

Roy Jones would at least be faster.

Short of finding some angle like that, he is going to be very hard to beat.

I don't see any middle beating a prime Spinks.
