Send Margarito To PRISON

There's a lot of that yes, but there is also a very disturbing tendency of people, particularly with respect to athletes, to assume that an accusation equals guilt. Margarito and his trainer were only proven to have had some substance in his handwraps. I don;t believe it was even conclusively proven to have been plaster. As far as other fights, there is no evidence that he had anything in his handwraps. Yet people assume guilt without evidence. It's sickening, frankly.

 

Come on now. The dude had a white plaster-like substance smeared across old pads. He was caught immediately before a fight attempting to cheat. He would have worn those loaded wraps into the ring with Mosley if he hadn't been caught. Therefore, he is a cheater.

And somehow people should give him the benefit of the doubt in regards to anything, past or present? How does that make sense?

 

This is part of it, no doubt in my mind. Similar to the PED/Pac situation.

 

It's prejudice against Margarito, always has been.

Did you hear any of them saying to put Tito in prison? How about all the others who use steroids? Pac has never tested for roids, but the sames ones who hate Margarito claim they have proof that Pac is a druggie. Where is their proof?

How can you send Margarito to prison for something he's not been found guilty of. Yes he was guilty against Mosley but was not given the chance to up his illegal offense.

Against Miguel Cotto he was winning that fight, illegal hand wraps or not. Cotto threw everything at him and Marg was just walking straight through everything. Unless Marg had illegal handwraps AND A-Meth where his face is pretty much bullet proof.

All in all, I just think that Miguel swells and cuts easier than your average boxer. Look at his face against Pacquiao.. equally as bad as it was against Marg.

 

Well, don't forget, according to the guilty until proven innocent crowd, Pac was all roided up in that fight!atsch

Margarito was not only found to have illegal substances in his wraps, backed up by findings from the Department of Justice but they went to court and everything and was found guilty. He can't even get a license to fight anymore Tell me, why is that? Oh I forgot - he's Mexican and everyone in the CSAC and Department of Justice is out to **** up Margarito's life. :roll:
