You guys missed FOTY if you didn't watch this last night. Santiago/Misaki II was incredible.

Missed it this morning, had to catch it all on youtube. Holy **** the main event was unreal. I feel for Misaki, getting stopped while ahead in consecutive title fights by the same opponent in the same round has got to be disheartening. It's like Sonnen/Silva x2. The rest of the card was great as well. Sucked to see Gono lose in his LW debut but Jadamba looked legit. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.

I caught up through Okuno-Thompson (so basically all the appetizers) before someone assumed control of the remote control with me taking a quick break in the crapper.

I look forward to watching the top end with the meat and potatoes. :good

Man, you aren't kidding, Santiago is always entertaining, win or lose.

This isn't aimed at you particularly, but I don't get the love for Gono.

Outside of his strange entrances, he doesn't really bring anything spectacular, in terms of being entertaining in the ring or particularly technically impressive at any one thing.

I don't dislike, I just am neutral on him.

What a satisfying but pyrrhic win for Leonardo Santos! Getting smashed in the balls four times (OK, the first one was tit for tat even though the low blow from Santos to Yamada was unintentional) - thrice with flush knees! :patsch :!:

It would have been more satisfying if Santos had been able to knock him out (as seemed plausible at times) but DQ was the right call there.

    That main event was epic.

Another twenty seconds and we could have had a trilogy! :-(

What a fight Santiago-Misaki II was. Epic. Both guys are warriors.

Got say though, I'm not sure about the towel being thrown in. I know Misaki was taking some punishment and was in a sorry state, but he was winning that fight and there was only 30 seconds left. Great comback from Santiago and an excellent fight nonetheless.

Another highlight of that card was Okuno's KO of Thompson. Brutal!!

My thoughts exactly. His corner deprived us of a rubbermatch (whch probably would have been a FOTY frontrunner once more for 2011)!
