    The similaritys are uncanny,the boring 12 round fights,the generous desicions,the"he can do no wrong"fan base active only in one country.Its starting to make sense why they never fought each other,they are long lost brothers.

    They were brothers for a long time (i.e. very similar records/careers) until Calzaghe added Lacy, Kesseler, BHOP and RJJ to his resume.

    The wins over an as yet unproven (elite wise) Kessler and an old but decent version of Hopkins set them apart. The Lacy display was more convincing than anything Sven did as well.

    Ottke had a great mustache.

    Calzaghe does not.

    Hence they are in fact not separated at birth.

    Keep going idiot,ive only followed the sport since 1980.
    I just happen to think the Calzaghe worship is pathetic.Ive paid good money to see fight cards he has been on in the 90s and jesus christ he is awful to watch.The Starie fight was one of the worst ive ever seen.The only person i remeber him stopping convincingly was Pudwill and even then i think the great Tocker slipped banged his head on the ring post rather than going down from a punch.He fights 2 ageing greats at the end of his career,gets a lucky win over one and the other guy would have finished what he started in round 1 if the fight had been a few years earlier.
    Ottke is no better and having spent a lot of time in Berlin over the years ive been forced to endure Ottke a few times.
    Thier careers and styles are so simillar honestly think they may be related.

    You are far too harsh on Joe Calzaghe!

    Or you have never seen some of Ottke's performances in the ring.

    You got bored silly watching that living sleeping pill Ottke in the ring with his hit and run tactic.He would have been an excellent sprinter a couple of years ago.
    Very capable boxer,but surely no feast for eyes whereas Joe showed some very entertaining fights which were fun to watch.
    I guess that you dislike Joe for some reasons so that you try to belittle him and his achievements by comparing apples with plums.
    Joe and Ottke didnt play in the same league-entertainmentwise.
