?? You are stating exactly what I’ve been saying. Money will dictate how much Plant gets. It’s never about what a fighter thinks he should get it if he has a belt. It’s whether people are willing to pay to see you fight. As of now there is little to interest in Plant.
Since looks that we will not see an undisputed a HW or stuff like Craw vs Spence etc, then_____ why not to sell big superfight Canelo vs Plant at 168 lbs? Both of them might get even more than 15m for this fight and what there will be wrong? I forget, Plant is cheap by some Canelo fans opinions etc alike and should be cheap and sell his belt for cheap to Canelo. I actually agree because I think any pro boxing belt is lesser worth than roll with cheapest toilet paper.
Golovkin beat him twice and rearranged his face. Opened up a new hole in his head for his sugar daddy Oscar to exploit with his dirty fantasies
Are you talking about the Derevyanchenko fight? You could argue he lost but I thought the KD inched him ahead.
No one cares. Everyone wish to see anyone to be an undisputed with these paper entertainment belts in paper show. ' So, there for slobs not willing to travel aboard and be tested on foreign soil is stuf called prize fighting and their entertainment belts. Cool business and nothing wrong there, no offense here to entertainment business scene with their amusement industry income. I think they do every thing correctly to earn money properly and nothing wrong with this business reality.
Canelo is gonna hide under the couch forever. When GGG retires he will be all like "ohhh I wanted to fight him but he ran away"
$15 mill is insane money to ask for, that's about double what BJS got. Canelo maybe a cash cow but paying that much to an opponent would set a costly precedent, any fighter with a title will want that vs Canelo from now on. At this point Canelo has proven he's the clear number 1 at the weight. Plant may have a title but he's done nothing to suggest you could rank him above Canelo. I'd have no problem with him passing on Plant and just moving up to light heavy.
I remember the days when the B side believed in themselves and were willing to fight for what they were worth because they thought they could win. Canelo too 5 million to Mayweather's 41.5 million, also against Cotto he took 5 million to Cotto's 15 million.
