    21st September 2013 - Copper Box Arena

    BILLY JOE SAUNDERS vs JOHN RYDER - Great domestic clash between two unbeatens.

    DEREK CHISORA vs EDMUND GERBER - Decent fight for the European Heavyweight Title.

    FRANKIE GAVIN vs DAVID BARNES - Interesting clash of styles between one rising star and one former hyped fighter.

    LIAM WALSH vs JOE MURRAY - Another battle of the unbeatens and a make or break for either guy.

    PAUL BUTLER vs MIGUAL GONZALEZ - Yet another clash of unbeatens although Gonzalez bit of a unknown commodity.

    Either way there's 2 or 3 good fights on that card and two very good back to back shows by Frank following on from the Cleverley one so you have to give him credit for doing that.

    I like frank, more honest than Hearn even though they are both crooks, he delivers the better cards and fights and does it for a reasonable price, one decent fight on a card does not mean ppv, and I really don't think haye vs fury is ppv either.

    Agreed

    Any one who pays for Haye-Fury needs their head tested.

    Whenever Haye fights someone bigger and taller then him(Valuev,Harrison,Klitschko) he stinks the joint out because he fights in such a cautious safety first manner and his approach versus Fury will be more of the same boring ****.

    I think Haye is going to try and blast Fury out early.

    Great Card on the 21st cant wait for next month.

    Dont really like the Gavin/Barnes fight.I thought Vassell a better test.Not too bad if Gavin is using it as a keep busy fight and fights again before the end of the year for,say,a European title.But I fear he won't.Time marches on.

    He's a Co-Promoter with David Haye although he isn't promoting the actual event and keeping in the background.

    Gavin vs Barnes is actually one of the fights on the card i'm most looking forward to. Frankie needs to face a style close to his own and Barnes provides that plus to David this could be his last shot at the bigtime so will have trained and come into it like it's his World title shot. If Frankie isn't focused mentally then it could end up being a tricky fight for him but one that will do him good in the long-run.

    This fight is all about winning the Lonsdale belt for Frankie and then he'll be fighting for the European title in December and a World title shot towards the end of 2014 if he wins his next 4 fights.

    Great card, I agree Gavin - Barnes is a mismatch but I'll still have fun watching Gavin put on a master class, plus the rest of the card is pretty damn good!

    I hope you're right Terminator,especially about fighting for the Euro in December.I think he's easily capable of winning it.If so,you could say he'd had a really good year and was somewhat on target and in line with his abilities.I just think it could be his last fight of the year against a boxer who hasn't been very active and who is IMO not as good as Vassell.Effectively marking time.
