September 8th: Dawson vs. Ward, Bailey vs. Alexander, Klitschko vs. Charr, etc. September 15: Canelo vs. Lopez, Martinez vs. Chavez Jr., Rigondeaux vs. Marroquin, etc.
The 15th offers more, knowing Dawson is coming down IMO he should have taken a tune up before just jumping ship and fighting Ward in his first fight down at this weight Ward has allot of skill and if Dawson isnt right with the weight it will be a one sided beat down which I already think it is, Pascal was able to out box Dawson, dominated him leaving Dawson to look like a deer stuck in the headlights. Chavez vs Martinez, the fight we have waited for, for a very very long time finally is here, thing is its a much closer fight than it looked like a year ago, Chavez has filled out, and has improved, while Martinez though he has been sparking his opponents lately, he has aged and taken some punishment, this may be a case of the fresher guy pulling it out, this fight has so many different potential out comes its hard to pick a winner I like Jr though. Both Jr and Ward will win ward likely in dominant kessler like fashion.
The card I am most interested in is Ward/Dawson with Demarco/Molina Jr. on the undercard. Ward is one of my favorite fighters, and that opening bout should be spectacular. That said, the 15th has so many fights it is going to be amazing. A day like none I can remember. There's going to be so much boxing on TV we might not be able to keep up. I'm looking forward to that day the most.
I'll be at the Oracle Arena to watch the Dawson/Ward card live:happy Sept 15 looks more promising though!
