Thx. I added that fight. Two good fighters going at it for the IBF CW Title.

So basically two weekends with two actual, meaningful title defenses? Weird. 15th edges it for me since Ward & Dawson have proven themselves to some degree or another. I wanna see if jr. is the real deal or not.

I was ready to just click the 15th than I saw the fights and while I'm still going with the 15th. The 8th can give it a run for it's money.
The diffrance is that it comes down to ulio Cesar Chavez Jr (46-0) vs. Sergio Martinez (49-2) & Saul Alvarez (40-0) vs. Josesito Lopez (30-4) vs. Andre Ward (25-0) vs. Chad Dawson (31-1). If Vitali Klitschko (44-2) was fighting someone good, it would give the 8th a huge boost. Both nights get an A grade in my opinion.

Thats what was being talked about a week or two ago but I see ESPN has the fight listed as the 8th and *********** has an article today saying the fight is on for the 8th and in Las Vegas. So I'm not sure which is the actual date but as of now it seems its back on the 8th.

I'd prefer to see the fight go to the 22nd since there are plenty of fights on the 8th and nothing lined up for the 22nd. If this card stays on the 8th and you add up all the fights on the 8th and 15th, not too mention ESPN has a card lined up for the 13th, I'd say its one of the biggest weeks of boxing in a long time.

    15th by far.

Ward-Dawson and Demarco-Molina should be great, but Martinez-Chavez, and the fight that IMO has the potential to be FOTY Gonzalez-De Leon takes this.

Nothing in my statement was wrong, the information on there could well be wrong.

Ricky Burns v Kevin Mitchell ;)

But yes with that many cards I'm worried that events will cross so I would rather it be on the 22nd.

September is going to be awesome either way.

The information on box nation is old news. September 8th is the date for those two fights.

Also added Tony Bellew (17-1) vs. Edison Miranda (35-7) for September 8th.

I thought I started a thread like this last week.

In any case, I'm still going with September 8th.
