    Boxing doesnt need saving the sport is as healthy as it ever been and the sport will always survive on its own. The loyal fans will always be fans, now for it to be more mainstream there needs to be a superstar and right now the only mainstreams boxer that have a crossover appeal are floyd and pacquiao. Even if canelo beats floyd he is not mainstream and wont be on that level for a while.
