    It'll be interesting to see how sucessful he is, physically he looks in somewhat better shape and his greatly altered his style over the past year or two, much more of a brutal MT fighter than the boxer we saw in the past.

    Didn't he get stopped very recently? Never saw it, what was the story there?

    That was K1. I think losing in other combat sports will only improve a MMA.

    Possibly, but for a fighter with quality boxing credentials you'd expect him to do alright stood up. Did he get sparked or what?

    Got over aggresive trying to avoid low kicks and ended up being countered.

    Dispite devolping more of a MT game I don't think Sergei's low kick defence and timing will ever be good enough to suceed at K1. Could be a very different story in MMA though where obviously you can't thow low kicks as much and covering up agenst his aggresive boxing is going to be alot harder with the smaller gloves.
