Could Kovalev pull it off against the brown bomber and the Cincinatti Cobra? Especially with his punching power?
I really don't think so, no. Louis and Charles destroy him. For me, you could actually replace any of those four fighters with Kovalev, and he would be beaten. You're talking about possibly three top 25 heavyweights (Louis obviously much higher, and I have Charles and Walcott just squeezing in), and two top 10 light heavies. There is just no way that Kovalev could survive in that kind of company.
Kovalev with a weigt of around 190 on fight night would actually be a normal size HW for that time, but no i wouldnt favor him against either one. Especially not the current version. He would probably be a very dangerous contender
Gets China chinned by Louis after a few rounds of success, competitive fight against Charles which I ultimately think he gets knocked out late in
I think those versions of Louis, who didn’t come in as focused as he could’ve, may have some issues early on, but Kovalev wouldn’t be as difficult to close down as them 2, so I see him closing the ring off, forcing the exchanges and eventually getting to him.
