Sergei Kovalev should drop his WBO title and pay off the WBC for an eliminator

It's a good fight, and it would put Kovalev into the top 5 p4p, and give him clear and legitimate claim to Champion........BUT.......if Ward was afraid of Bute.......how the hell do you get him in the ring with Kovalev.:nono

 

How does BHOP make that claim when he sidestepped Kovalev, refused to fight a uni bout with Cleverly, and simply fought retreads in Dawson Cloud and Murat.

Lord knows that Cleverly pounded Murat before BHop strategically outpointed him.
Dawson was proven to be a spent fighter and STILL outmanuevered the old man.
Cloud.....cmon....Cleverly would outpoint him worse than Campillo SHOULD have.

There's no one denying that BHop is a legend. His under the radar use of TRT, has made him one of the 7 wonders of the world, but his wins arent as impressive apart from his age.

Aside from Cloud, who lost badly to Campillo, who in turn has been squarely KOd by chinachinned Fonfara and KOvalev. Cleverly beat mostly legit top 10s and was begging for unification with Bhop, Murat, Brahmer, Shumenov......offers went out to all those guys.

Cleverly was willing to fight the very best, and unfortunately for him, he did fight the very best, and got KOd for his valor. But I don't think anyone truly in their mindseye believes that BHop woulda beat him or that Dawson COULD.

And how would Cloud beat him. He couldnt handle Campillos speed, and couldnt even keep up with Adonis who was made to look like PBF in there.:rofl:rofl
