I wonder if thats why they dropped Johnson in favor of Monroe.

At least Monroe family, if they come are a pugilistic family. Johnson whole clan shows up in Sunday Best. Which is cool, but man youd feel bad for them if he fought GGG.

Pascal's daughter (I guess) probably knew that Kovalev already killed one guy in the ring. Pascal was getting battered badly. He was in a difficult situation at some point and it was getting dangerous for Pascal's health (if the ref hadn't stop the fight).

I don't get pleasure watching that for sure and don't understand why people do.

Kids just cry, Cotto's kids were crying when he fought Mayweather so that don't mean a thing.

That wasn't fun to watch as all, not funny in the slightest. I did find it weird that Pascal would bring his children to his fight, especially against one where he's a clear underdog against a man who has already killed another boxer. Must have been very traumatic for her, seeing her dad take a beating like that.

From the outside we can see the boxer probably shouldnt bring his family to such a fight... But a boxer, a fighter csn't allow any doubts about the other guys reputation enter his heart. He needs to have 100% belief in his ability that he will overcome his opponent. Not allowing your family to the fight would be kind of giving in to the widely held predictions that pascal would take punishment

Actual audio of her crying would have been even better.

I've never understood why any fighter would want their children there or their wife, even if it was you dishing out a beating why would you want your children or family watching it?

Boxing can be brutal and sometimes even fatal, personally I wouldn't want anybody there.

The mother or another family member should have taken that young girl out of the arena and also I have no idea why the camera man thought it was appropriate or good tv to stick a camera in the face of a young girl who's father was being battered.

The stress of watching your child box is a thousand times harder than actually boxing yourself.

I get that but even if I was confident of winning a fight I wouldn't be happy with any children I'd have watching me get punched, especially from one of the hardest punchers in boxing at this moment in time.

Funny thing is, Kovalev doesn't take that view. He never makes a prediction and says it only takes one punch and you're KO'd.

HBO are guilty in this scenario too, is there any need to zoom in on an 11 year old girl crying watching her father get hurt? cheap and unnecessary.

I think it usually means they're upset.
