You guys ever take a look at how people are being butchered in this world? Tortured, ****d and slaughted for every reason imaginable. Yet many of you are grandstanding over some kid, living a comfortable, protected life who watches their dad lose a boxing match.

Their father will explain it to them when he gets home so cry me a river with your sanctimony and pseudo altruism.

Who's grandstanding and what does that mean?

All I see is some people finding it amusing/entertaining that a kid is upset by seeing (I'm assuming) a family member get beat up and some other people saying that is a kinda messed up thing to get enjoyment from. I also see some people question whether children etc should be at boxing matches if it's going to upset them.

I agree, there are horrendous atrocities happening all over the world, tragically even as we type but the thing is this is a boxing site not a current affairs forum so excuse us for talking about something connected to last nights fight and the images shown to us on TV.

If you wish to talk current affairs and try and belittle people then may I suggest you register with a news site or current affairs forum.

Nobody is being belittled just introduced to a more realistic perspective. If Pascal had won this would have been a thread on how great it was for a fighter's children to share in his moment of glory.

    First World problems, I guess?

Why the hell would you bring your childrens to your fights?

It's already pathetic enough to bring parents or *****es. Leave those kind of people home.

Not really. The lesson is, "Don't bring your children to a fight". This isn't baseball, or golf. If you bring your kids to the fight, it might not go your way.

    DEAL WITH IT.

Plus if the opposite happened she would of cheered wildly while another man got a bad beating.

What was he thinking? Bring his daughter while fighting such a dangerous opponent.:patsch

The worst was when Fedor destroyed Mark Coleman and Coleman brought his two daughters into the ring to meet the man that turned their father's face into hamburger meat.

Yeah, her dad sat in front of a microphone and talked about it at a press conference.

Of course he will bring his family. He is a former world champion. He thought he would win. I don't think anybody said "what was Pac thinking bringing his wife when he's fighting a monster like Marquez?!?" or "what was Floyd doing bringing his kids when he's fighting a monster like Alvarez?!?"

The dude who crosses over gigantic canyons on a tightrope without a harness always has his wife and kids there. I suppose you all take massive issue with that?

Didn't Cotto have his wife and kids there for the Margarito rematch, even though they were famously distraught after the first fight?

Making sure they aren't there isn't being very confident if it's part of the routine for them to be there.

I think they're all pretty stupid yeah. I don't think it's a good idea to bring your young children (or certain other people) to see you fight or potentially fall off a tightrope.

No fighters should bring children to boxing matches.Unless it teenage boys, like Mosley's son and Roy's twins. It might be good for them to learn the old rule of, " you win some, you lose some".
