Probably loses to Qawi. Probably beats the other two. Kovalev is underrated right now. You have to be a special fighter to run Ward to the wire like that, and he was even better two or three years earlier.

    * Qawi over Kovalev for sure.
    * Eddie ran hot and cold, and sometimes was extremely...selective...in terms of what and how often he threw. Could see Kovalev maybe outworking him en route to a points win. Or...Eddie catches him and blasts him out in the mid rounds like Alvarez did.
    * Think Kovalev might be able to catch Pops charging in and stop him, but wouldn't be surprised if Johnson ground him down for a later rounds stoppage. Would be a pretty great fight regardless of outcome.

He would probably lose to Mustafa, Qawi, Marvin Johnson and Lopez.

Marvin's chin wasn't too bad actually

He took a lot from Mustafa and Saad before getting hurt

Spinks was a once in a career type one punch ko punch

Marvin Johnson had a bad defense and not the greatest chin, terrible style to fight a boxer puncher like Kovalev, he would be walking into the bombs of Kovalev and Kovalev would find the gaps easily

Yaqui Lopez? He was crude and tall, but didn't use his reach, massive target to aim at, whilst not having to worry about being outjabbed, Nathan Cleverly all over again

Negative. Prime Johnson took many a big shots from the likes of Franklin x2 and Gregory. He would jump on Kovalev and pulverize him. Johnson was a heck of a fighter in his prime and alot more durable than Kovalev ever was so sorry no.
