    I'm not too fond of this *******. I spent a little over 400 bucks to watch this guy ***** fight with Briggs for 12 and a half rounds and then get knocked straight out of the ring. Liakhovich was a huge disapointment that night to say the least.

    Christ, is Sergei Liakhovich still an active fighter? He vanished like the Invisible Man after losing to Nick Valubum back in 2008 or so......

    Sergei had some talent. He was never the same after the fight with Brewster though. Shame, that was a great HW fight, probably the best of the last 5 years. Both guys throwing bombs and fighting furiously.

    thanks for posting. looked like a descent scrap. the other guy was game and pretty quick for a hw. sergei looked in pretty good form and at his best IMO he's definiitely one of the better hws not named klitchko

    I scored huge on that fight I bet huge money on that fight at +220 on Briggs to win. It literally changed my life. Liakovich was never the same after that KO.

    How much you'd bet on Briggs to KO Sultan? :D It looked like a pretty easy fight for Sultan.

    I won more on the liakovich fight by a wide margin than I lost on the Sultan fight and the timing was impecable. I maried my dream girl as a direct result, I used the money to take her on vacation that new years after Briggs KO'd Liakovich and we ended up getting engaged. Funny thing was the day I met her family was the day of that fight, I think they thought I was crazy when I told them I put $1000 on Briggs but the ending of that fight was nothing short of perfection, I`ll never forget seeing liakovich fall through the ropes and seeing the ref wave it off and then hearing and shannong Briggs has won. Best KO ever.

    If you look more clearly, Liakhovich's best fight was against Brewster
    and people just started having too much expectations in him,
    except beating Brewster he didn't do much in his whole career.
