Eight rounds, three minutes apiece. It'll count on both their records (Kharitonov enters 2-0 and Scott 38-3-1).

 

"King" Malik enters dressed like a 1980's pimp.

No diggety... sparkly red & gold trunks with a Japanese floral print silk robe in matching colors, and gold feathered Godfather hat. Really feel like he should have an entourage of ho's walking him into the ring.

 

SK looks haggard. Crazy that he was born under two years before me. I'm only holding up "okay" and don't look half that bad.

 

His chin is covered in fat rolls and multiple shades of coarse grey hair, can only imagine what a disaster his pubic region is.

 

Scott himself was looking chunky just a few months ago (in particular there is a pic of him very bloated and standing next to a cut-up Wilder that made the rounds online; wasn't a flattering contrast in the least) but he is coming in pretty lean today.

 

Round 1

Kharitonov is pawing with a high left jab coming off his own ear, but not hitting anything before diving in and grappling with Scott. Quick jabs in plurality by Scott while taking long slinky backward steps as needed to preserve distance, until Kharitonov rushes and the clinches become unavoidable. Kharitonov is warned for grinding his forearm into the base of Scott's neck in a clinch. Whenever there's separation, Kharitonov is getting soundly out-jabbed. This only lasts for a few seconds before he jumps in, trying for underhanded body shots while still in midair, grazing Scott's ribs at best and eating jabs on the way in before they clasp together and spin with the ref calling for breaks immediately but always having to repeat himself a few times.

Seven more like that and Kharitonov's boxing (and combat sports in general) career might end with a whimper.

BUT ...there is always the possibility of that "bang".
