Sergai is on a good run, home advantage and has a big amateur pedigree.

Malik Scott is one of the most pathetic boxers I have ever seen. A joke with no integrity.

    Hopefully he gets sparked out.

To be fair that was a lot of fans' introduction to him and it was among the worst first impressions you could have. :sisi1

Sergei is twice the fighter Scott is and is one bad dude, in boxing rules Scott should win but I wouldn't be 100% on it.

    True.
But he was a whisper in boxing from before.
Plus he is a cool dude.

I always thought he, along with Kevin Johnson and Eddie Chambers, were among the biggest non-KO artist underachievers in the last couple of decades of heavyweight boxing contention. All three (Fast Eddie the most, Iceman the least, Kingpin somewhere in the middle) could have pure-boxed their way to a world title with better luck and discipline - or with the waving of a magic wand to give them all massive power, obviously. There was talent & skill enough there, in any event, for all of them.

I remember Sergei was a pretty bad dude in pride fighting about 20 years ago. It's hard to believe he was in his early 20s then, he looked a hard 35.

Always rated those 3 guys in term of skill as well. I think it would benefit any top prospect to work out and spar with Scott, Kingpin and Chambers right now. Sparring sessions with them would help them so much more than fighting guys who just come to collect a paycheck.
