Why? I have no regrets. I literally don't care if Wilder and Ortiz both spontaneously combusted in the ring and the front row looked as if they just went to a Gallagher performance without ponchos, watching Bivol do his thing was the only choice for me.

Yeah, I had a flashback myself there. They seemingly don't care much about the entire spoilers thing...

    Round 1

Mikhalkin is raising his right arm like a shield and leaning his upper body away. Kovalev is hammering the body with right hands and jabbing into the guard. Kovalev taking it easy as he works up a lather of sweat. Mikhalkin not throwing much back, a few timid, lackadaisical lead lefts while sidestepping. Mikhalkin's southpaw jab is just a cover to allow him to circle away in peace.

    10-9 Kovalev

Mikhalkin's corner needs to think about throwing in the towel here, this has the Simakov match vibe to it already.

Already is. Lots of clean punches being landed, guy just has a good poker face so far.

    Round 2

Mikhalkin is nervously skittering around, draw-bridging his right arm up and down in a vague semblance of a jabbing motion (but more like he's carving himself a slice of turkey with an electrical blade). Kovalev still not fully opening up yet, toying with Mikhalkin and getting in enough lumps to loosen his limbs and get into an offensive rhythm. Sparring mode for both. Class telling, Kovalev outlanding him by a lot (and throwing at least triple as much)

    10-9 Kovalev

    20-18 Kovalev

Kovalev looks as sharp as I've ever seen him.
